Comic book fan? Writer? Artist? Fanboy? Connoisseur? The Metro Entertainment Pop Art Symposium was created to host all of the above and more in the pursuit of comic book creativity. It's an informal gathering of all ages and abilities to talk shop, share ideas and work with other creative people live and in person in a relaxed social gathering, a meeting of the minds! The potential of comics is limitless and exciting. Come and see!

Studio117B was created for artists that wish to further their abilities in figurative art. There is a live model every session and the studio has professional equipment, art benches, easels, lighting and a stage. A wide range of artists attend from beginners just starting their studies to working professionals. There is a great group of friendly regulars and new comers are always welcome.

We are hosting lifedrawing and painting workshops Monday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 10 pm. Both evenings are twenty-five minute poses for uninstructed drawing. We are located at 4451 Kingswell Ave, at the Northeast corner of Kingswell and Hillhurst in the heart of Los Feliz Village. There's a long driveway and we're all the way at the back, through a little courtyard to a burgundy door. The donation is fifteen dollars per session on a pay as you go basis.
